In this project, I used the Arduino to create a simple system that is able to trigger the flash of the water drip valve at the same time, which helps us to capture the single water drip with the normal camera.
I set up the Arduino system first, a bottom can trigger the water drip valve and flash. I set the flash mode to manual and set the camera to BULB mode. If I press the bottom, the system would first trigger the LED light and open the drip valve for 70 ms, after 300 ms, the system triggers the flashlight, then the camera can capture the water drip. The changing of the drip valve open time can change the shape of the water drip, the changing of the flash delay and decide what part of falling drip can be captured.
